The practice of optimizing content to improve organic search rankings. SEO is a multi-faceted approach that commonly involves auditing a website’s health (checking for broken content, load speed, etc.), blogging, backlinking (placing links on related third-party websites), user review moderation, online directory optimization, and social media activity.
Compared to Pay-Per-Click (PPC), SEO is a long-term process that can take several months to witness noticeable improvement. It is an important aspect of search engine marketing, especially for certain industries. In particular, businesses reliant on “near me” searches are heavily reliant on effective SEO to deliver traffic.
Local Search Optimization (LSO) is a common subtactic of SEO that focuses entirely on optimizing location-based searches and online directories (chiefly Google My Business). We incorporate LSO into our overall SEO strategies.
